For starters, all garages listed sign the female friendly FOXY Promise to 'never overcharge, patronise or sell women anything they don't need or want.' Competition is a good thing so we list independent garages alongside dealerships, fastfits and accident repair centres; this means women can choose the female formula that suits them best depending on their car, budget and occasion.

We then promote evidence of quality workmanship and a commitment to transparent prices, clean facilities and a warm welcome. For brownie points, we look for female staff in customer facing roles, ladies evenings to help women run their cars and facilities to help Mums entertain children while waiting.
